IHCA Leaders Congressional Visit this week

A group of IHCA and ICAL member leaders and association staff traveled to Washington, D.C. this week to visit Iowa’s congressional delegation as part of AHCA/NCAL’s Congressional Briefing. During the visit, the IHCA group met with Iowa’s congressional delegation directly to discuss the association’s key federal legislative priorities for 2022.

The IHCA group met with Senators Grassley and Ernst, as well as Representatives Hinson, Feenstra, Miller-Meeks and Axne during the visit. These meetings with Iowa’s elected officials were useful in helping ensure that public policy decisions improve the lives of Iowans in need of long-term care.
