ICD-10 coding class for post-acute care scheduled in February
The Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) has dramatically increased the importance of accurate ICD-10-CM diagnoses by shifting Medicare payments from therapy volume to resident characteristics.
Join us Feb. 25 – Feb. 26 for two days of training on the basic coding knowledge, terms, official guidelines and case studies for each chapter in ICD-10-CM, and education on diagnosis management.
The education event will consist of a case study method to give learners diagnostic coding training and experience using real-world clinical resident examples to code an entire case from beginning to end. This method will allow the attendees to understand coding in a workshop type environment while processing case studies within each chapter.
