Security (full-time, 3rd shift)

Full-time, 3rd shift (40 hours/week)
Must have a valid Iowa driver’s license

DUTIES:
Protects Western Home Communities property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment. Will observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances on WHC property. Report in detail any suspicious incidents or subjects on WHC property. Respond to any emergency calls by Independent Living residents. Patrol buildings and perimeters to include door checks. Monitor and control access to building entrances and property. Will help facility services department and environmental services department with tasks including snow removal and trash removal as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:
Previous security experience preferred. Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols required. Knowledge of surveillance skills and be detail oriented. Must be CPR certified or willing to receive certification within 30 days. Must have a valid Iowa driver’s license.
