RESTORATIVE NURSING PROGRAM

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION



This workshop will teach you how to organize and set up your Restorative Nursing Program to capture all the restorative nursing care that is being provided. There will also be a review of how PDPM will affect therapy services and how to start preparing for the changes. Attendees will learn: how to identify restorative needs, implement programs, evaluate and document restorative care; requirements for CMS regulations and PPS/RUGS III; tips to streamline your program and deliver restorative care 24/7; what the surveyors are looking for to determine regulation compliance; MDS sections related to Restorative Nursing & how Restorative Nursing impacts Medicaid.
