Gain the knowledge and skills to accurately and efficiently identify, understand and schedule various MDS 3.0 assessments and understand the CAA process, including triggers and the care plan requirements. Plus coding for SNF assessments and submission guidance. The MDS 201 education will provide additional training on the MDS 3.0 focusing on Section GG for SNF assessments, documentation required for CAA’s, timing for OBRA and PPS assessments, and care plans will be discussed to show how to make the plan of care related specifically to the goals of the resident. There will also be a representative from Tellgien who will review the requirements on submission of MDS forms.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This training is for Long Term Care facility (SNF/NF) personnel who are actively involved with the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process which is primary to Interdisciplinary Team Members and also for Directors of Nursing and Administrators.
