Workshop Description

Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) is a comprehensive structured approach to ensuring quality care and performance improvement within health care organizations.  In the quickly changing world of health care payment systems, managed care organizations and ACO’s will require all types of  health care providers to have well established performance improvement operations in place in order to be considered as a contracted partner.

Before organizations can implement quality improvement systems, it’s important to start with a full understanding of QAPI. With the proper tools and information, organizations have the ability to implement programs and modify processes based on QAPI standards. This workshop will provide an in-depth look into QAPI guidelines and provide a direction for implementing programs and processes within your organization.
