Learn the knowledge and skills to accurately and efficiently identify, understand and schedule various MDS 3.0 assessments, and understand the CAA process, including triggers, and the care plan requirements.
The MDS 201 education will provide additional training on the MDS 3.0 focusing on the formatting and documentation required for Care Area Assessments (CAAs), the timing for OBRA and PPS assessments, and “I” Care Plans will be discussed to show how to make the whole plan of care related specifically to the goals of the resident.
1. Identify correct timing for OBRA and PPS assessments
2. Identify how to complete the CAA's process
3. Identify how to complete the care plan in relationship to the MDS
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This training is for Long Term Care facility (SNF/NF) personnel who are actively involved with the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process which is primary to Interdisciplinary Team Members and also for Directors of Nursing and Administrators.
