Providers are encouraged to send their entire teams to this high-energy, day-long program that will provide an innovative and do-able approach to dementia care. The training will offer caregivers proven and fun tools, tips, and approaches to dementia care. There will be a focus on Communication Coaching to help participants apply and teach simple, but powerful communication techniques that make life better for persons with dementia. Additionally there will be a discussion on ‘behavior prevention’ and strength-based activities – known to make life much less frustrating and safer for both residents and staff members. Packed with take-home tools and coaching strategies you can use immediately – this is the dementia session you don’t want to miss!
