The IHCA ICAL Annual Convention and Trade Show gives long term care professionals the opportunity to join together with other administrators, nurses, activity professionals, dietary and, housekeeping managers, and social work professionals. It's a great opportunity to focus on excellence in service, caring and teamwork that results in satisfaction of the residents, tenants, clients and family members we serve.
The three-day convention includes two keynote speeches and offers more than 40 education breakout sessions on topics from health care to culture change to personal development - with up to 18 hours of CEUs available. Attendees are also invited to several evening social events and a trade show featuring more than 80 vendors.

The sleeping room block is sold out at the convention headquarters, the Downtown Des Moines Marriott. We have secured a block of rooms for our convention attendees at the hotels listed below. Be sure to ask for the special Iowa Health Care Association rate when reserving your sleeping room. The room blocks at these hotels will expire on September 3, 2010.
